It’s here, it’s here! My lovely new DSLR camera bag from Theit arrived earlier this week, just in time for some photo day trips & events I have planned for next week It’s absolutely gorgeous in person! I was lucky enough to be able to order it in the original colour about a month ago.
It’s amazing in person – the photos don’t to justice, and for any fashion conscious photographer like my self you won’t be feeling silly carrying this baby around like I did the very odd time I’d be caught using a normal camera bag. It was totally worth every penny, and I’m so happy I bought this lovely birthday present for myself. (Coming from a family of photographers, they’re quite happy as well. My dad hated the fact that whenever we went out shooting together I’d throw my stuff in my purse because I refused to carry an ugly camera bag around.)
I was really impressed with the structural quality of the bag – I was a little worried about the shoulder strap being sturdy enough, but all these fears were gone as soon as I had it in my hands. Both straps seem to be incredibly strong and easily support the weight of my gear.
I also love the fact that while it isn’t too big (I’m quite petite at only 5’1 and just under 100lbs), it has TONS of storage space and isn’t heavy at all when packed. The detailing is impeccable as well. The bag now comes in two other colours, white and fawn. I love the fawn colour, but I’m hard on my items and go out into woods a lot to take photos so I thought black would be the best choice for me. I tend to carry only the basics in my bag, my camera, my two most used lenses, phone, wallet, mints, extra battery and memory cards, but will occasionally throw in another extra lens or two depending on what I’m shooting.
