May 20th, 2011 | A Retro Backyard Picnic

My sister made these hamburger & ice cream cone cupcakes for a BBQ that she’s going to tomorrow. They reminded me of a 50′s diner, and inspired me. How fun would it be to have a retro & 50′s inspired BBQ/Picnic in your back yard!? Everyone gets to play dress up, have good food, and themed decorations.

So I decided I’m going to plan one for later on this summer and threw this together for a little inspiration. Just thought I would share! :) Hope everyone has a lovely long weekend, I’ll be working most of it.
